Overview

ContentNova 3.0 is an AI-native creative operating system. It understands a brand, then helps it plan, create, publish and learn from its content in one place.

Context

ContentNova is a product I help run, not a client brief. It is built for creators, founders, marketers and agencies juggling too many tools and a blank page.

The problem

Most AI content tools work as prompt in, post out: fast, but generic. People still have to manage their voice, positioning and posting rhythm themselves. The real need was never "write me a caption" but "help me work out what I have to say, and make saying it consistently feel easy."

My role

As CPO I own the product direction: the 3.0 blueprint, user journeys, UX plan and roadmap. As lead frontend engineer I co-built the web app with a teammate, from the spatial shell to the creation studio and approval inbox. The backend is mostly a teammate's work; I contribute where product and API meet.

Thinking

  1. Brand memory is the core

Every feature reads from one growing model of the person and writes back to it. If a feature does neither, it does not belong. That is what keeps the output sounding like them.

    context in, context out

  2. Conversation instead of forms

A long onboarding form that opened with "what's your niche?" gives way to one dialogue that listens first and asks second.

tell me, don't fill me in

  3. People stay in the loop

Each area runs on auto, semi-assisted or manual, and anything going out can wait in an approval inbox. Autonomy is granted, not assumed.

    trust is earned

Solution

A dark, spatial interface where brand, strategy, ideas, creation, planning, publishing and analytics are connected spaces rather than admin pages. A Node and Postgres backend runs the AI skills, background jobs and publishing.

What was built

  • Spatial workspace with smooth transitions between spaces
  • Creation studio with a carousel designer, scriptwriter and live preview
  • Planning calendar and publishing to connected social accounts
  • Autonomy settings and a human-in-the-loop approval inbox

Outcome

ContentNova 3.0 is live at contentnova.app, and the blueprint and UX plan I wrote now guide the next phase of the build.

Reflection

A clever architecture is not the same as a clear product. Ten named AI agents made a good demo and a confusing home screen, which is why 3.0 moves towards one calm system that knows you.
